Raw metallic film is first wrapped around the core yarn. Once the metallic thread is completed, it undergoes dying process. Resulting in high colour fastness to light and rubbing and washing. Because the metallic film is not colour coated, it has one less layer of coating, making the thread extremely soft and pliable. It also has a thinner denier of 200. This thickness of embroidery thread is excellent for large and small embrodiery designs.
